How long does it usually take to get something delivered from them?

I ordered an AFe cold air intake from them a week ago and still no tracking number? Is this normal?

Not normal. I ordered my EGR vent visors from them and had the tracking number by the end of the day. They were delivered 2 days later.

IIRC, they don't give you a tracking number until it has shipped from whoever their vendor is. most things i ordered from them shipped out within a day or two, unless it backordered

They do not inventory product they drop ship from the manufacturer and may even drop ship in bulk. I have had some items take 2 days and others take 1 month.

be careful with these drop ship companies like auto anything and drivewire. most of the time it works out, but sometimes things slip through the cracks because of communication issues between the manufacturer and the account.

i had a similar problem with drivewire a while back -

at the end of this, the CEO called me and offered me a few things in exchange for pulling my threads from the web which i had posted EVERYWHERE. i took none of his offers, but did pull the majority of the threads since someone eventually took responsibility.

Never had a problem ordering from Autoanything. But since they do drop-ship, be aware that you could be facing delays from the manufacturer. Especially with the holidays here. I would definitely contact them to see if anything is wrong (backorder, or issue with the order being placed?)..

Also thinking about buying one of those soft toppers for the bed!

Those things look awesome. Convenient with it being able to fold down. And I can take the windows off for my Dogs!!!

Just like my old jeep but better!

I am looking to find the location of the power outlet relay in the fuse box so that I can install a jump wire to make the 12v plugs inside of cab have power when truck is off. So that I can charge my phone with out leaving my keys in the ignition.

The relay is more than likely under the hood, not in the cab. Diagram should show one for accessory or something like that, pull relay, jump terminals, put relay away as spare. :D

Though do be careful, because if you leave to much plugged in, you can and will kill your battery.

The relay I am looking for (power outlet inside cab) is not listed in the manual. I searched online and still. I have read of someone doing this mod in the 1st generation Tacomas. Is it not possible in the 2nd generation Tacomas, to have constant power to 12v plugs inside the cab without splicing factory wires.

I doubt the relay is labeled power outlet.. you're probably looking for the Auxillary power relay... which would be under the hood.. If you can find the instructions for doing this in the 1st gens, it'll probably be about the same in the 2nds. Toyota really doesn't screw with the electrical on these trucks too much.. at least placement wise.
