Auto Dim Mirror wiring

Guys, I'm stuck and frustrated.
I got my mirror from Bobs, Gentex Auto Dim Homelink V4 for non-prewired 3rd gen. Great team at Bobs, but they are unable to help.

According to Bobs, these are the pins in the driver side pillar cable used to connect the wiring harness.
Pin 1 ground connects to the Black wiring wire
Pin 13 Ignition hot connects to the Black/White wire
Pin 14 Always hot connects to the Black/orange wire

I have 12 V power until I connect the cable. When I connect my Black/White wire to Pin 13 it shorts out. No power.
Can anyone provide help?

 

Not sure but maybe your truck is not wired for a auto dim homelink mirror as I think it is a option on some models. I have it in my 2021 Premium Package with the garage opener and it works great.

My truck is not prewired. I only have the day/night mirror. That's why I bought the set up for the non prewired. Can anyone verify this is the correct wiring?

 

I have power at the connectors. When I connect the mirror harness to Pin 13 the power drops out.

 

Maybe the wires of the mirror are not good/correct.
