I bought my truck new in 04. Loved the auto-off headlights feature. I inadvertently found out that the lights go off from a switch on the driver's door and not the ignition. The passenger door does not have the same switch to turn off the lights when the engine is turned off and the key removed from the ignition. Something new to me. I'd forgotten my phone, tried to run inside but the house was locked. Came back and turned the truck off via the passenger's side. Anyway, it was neat finding out something after 19 years.

Which I suppose was only 10 years after finding out that the truck does indeed have a clock on the dash.

Oh, and you can lock you keys in the car while it's running; have the windows up, crank it over to warm it while clearing snow, then touch the lock button with your elbow without knowing. At least the mountain was closed for Avi control at the time...

The one feature I would like to have had is the auto dipping mirrors in reverse gear. 310k and still going!
