Hi All. I’m stumped and looking for help. I have a 19 Pro that has been perfect. I recently installed a Redarc Liberty trailer brake controller and noticed my head lights were out. I uninstalled the controller and still no lights. Checked fuses and relays. All good. Checked bulbs. Both blown (low beams). I replaced both low beams with H11 bulbs. Low beams will work when manually turned on, but not in auto. I know the sensor is working because dash and radio dim correctly after sunset and in tunnels/under bridges. I realize this may seem like a dumb problem, but my new to driving teenager drives the truck and I’m very worried about her driving without headlights. I hooked up an obd reader and zero codes. I’m incredibly stumped on this one. Any help, ideas, or thoughts?

You added a controller, probably leaving battery connected. It blew the headlight bulbs so *something* worked its way through your electrical system. Now you have mixed response in the electrical system.

I advise disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes. Let the electrical system have a nice long nap and lose all incorrect memory settings. Cannot hurt anything. Your auto-headlights may well come back, then you can install the H9s again.

You’re absolutely correct. I foolishly did not disconnect the battery prior to installing the Redarc. I’ll go try a battery reset. Thank you for the suggestion

Learn from your error ... assuming this works. Life is full of this annoying "learning".
