2017 Orange Tacoma TRD Sports

My truck is a 2017 Sports , it has 9,000km,s 5,600 miles which I accumulated in 2 weeks after receiving the truck . The problem I have is when using cruise control , if there is the smallest incline the auto transmission kicks back two gears , then even if I start decending the the other side of the hill I have to manually Change back up to 5th . Where I live in Mexico it is not a problem because it is flat but I travel to the US frequently . On the US highways where the speed limit is 75 or 80 mph using cruise control on the smallest hill the engine is running at 5,000 rpm and even when the road levels out it gets stuck in the lowers gear
