I just bought a 2004 Prerunner. The only thing wrong with it is a slight valve cover leak that will ride for now and the light on the shifter console is out. I got the bulb form Toyota dealer but can't(or haven't) figured out how to get to it. Help?

It's a very common thing for the valve covers to leak also. My passenger side had oil on it but not to the point that is was dripping or anything. Then it got worse and started to leak onto the exhaust manifold and you could smell burnt oil. So it was time to change them. I have 249,400 miles on my truck now. But I changed them at 237,000.
