Has anyone ever purchased a new car while at a auto show? I'm looking to buy a Tacoma or Tundra in the next month or so. Portland has a auto show at the end of January and I might buy one then.

Do you get a little better deal when you buy from a show verse buying from the lot?

    Thanks

Probably not, But im not 100% Seems like they would raise the prices because your buying from an auto show, Something to brag about i guess. Plus they probably wont have as many options in the truck you want. Im sure they only bring a couple trucks. Id go to the dealership and haggle them down to for the truck you want.

Don't invest too much time talking to the sales people at the auto show unless they're hot. Your best deal will happen at a dealership.

I think that the regional dealers where your show is rotate sales staff to man the show. You are actually buying from one of the local dealers.

Yes, this is true but you won't get the best price at the show.

    Roger keep to the dealerships.

I was just trying to play one against the other to get a better price or some extra goodies thrown in when I buy it.
