Auto Trans vs. Manual Trans

    well my 08 bump starts, shut it dwon on a hill and while clutching it in I put it in second and let her out...The tach moves a little but when you turn the key to run, it ran...However the person behind me may of been like WTF is stoping on a hill for, I wonder if my truck has 4-ways?:

    It should. Up by the clock IIRC without getting off the couch! :laugh: A red triangle with an ! in the middle or something like that.

    6 speeds have issues. do a search. in hindsite i never would have bought the 6 speed

    None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars

    Which year seems to be having the most problems? To be brutally honest there is no reason for having a problem with the standard trans, Toyota has made literally millions of them. Presuming here we are talking about the trans itself, not anything clutch related.

    Automatic trans are OK , I don't partucularly care for a auto and one of the bonus's with a Toyota is that you can get it in a 6psd.
