    how hard is it to change the transmission fluids on a 2007 dcab v6..is it something i can do myself??:confused:

    I thought it was 100k in the manual and then changed to 60k. Either way, a straight drain and re-fill is super easy. Read the DIY.

    2005 Tan Tacoma Base 5 LUG: Beaten , abused and still running strong.
    Fat Bobs 2.75 lift and level with short AAL, 16x8 Level 8 Guardian Wheels, 245/75R16 Toyo Open Country ATII, custom trans shift kit(home made), Trans temp. and Vac gauge, URD fuel pump upgrade(going back to stock soon).
    The 6cyl automatic trans. requires a drain and fill every 100K since it uses world standard fluid. If it has Type T-IV then its 60K(T-IV used on 2.7L with auto trans).

    i drain and fill mine every 15k,takes 3.2 quarts.its very easy to do.

    Seriously? I've always heard it's a bitch because the fluid has to be filled exactly right at the exact temp etc etc. Looked like nothing I would mess with. Never seen an exact number before as in 3.2 quarts.
