Why won't my 2007 4x4 tacoma auto transmission shift into 5th and 6th gears

You only have a 5 speed transmission. How do you know it is not shifting into 5th?

The A750E will not shift into overdrive or 5th gear when there are trouble codes stored .
This is a completely computer controlled transmission , therefore , you need a code scanner to find out what the issue is
