Okay guys, so my truck was doing just fine and then it just died on me while accelerating. The CEL came on and is flashing very quickly. I noticed a clicking noise in conjunction with the CEL on top of the tranny so I took a look and found it coming from the shift lock solenoid. Key on and brake pressed, the gears shift fine. The truck will turn over but will not fire off. I’m thinking computer or ignition issue. Any ideas out there? I feel like the solenoid clicking is a symptom, but of what idk.

Sounds like a loss of voltage from loose wiring .
Check all your grounds , check the battery terminals .

Thanks Gearcruncher. I had replaced the valve cover gaskets and the Air Plenum gaskets about 6-8 months ago. So, I looked around there and found there was a ground cable loose that mounts to the lower manifold. Keep in mind, I had the ground removed from the battery for trouble shooting on the ECU. When I put it back together, including unplugging and re-plugging my ECU behind the glove box back in, the truck started. I have not road tested it yet, but the caution light is out for now. I will keep you updated.
