Auto vs. Standard?

    Would always choose manual over automatic. My last truck was an auto. But, going with an 2009, DC, LB, there was no manual to be found. And things have reversed over the years.

    It used to be that the manual was cheaper and would get better gas mileage but I found out through recent research in buying my 09 truck that the manual is now about $3500 more expensive than the automatic and the automatic gets better gas mileage.

    Still, if I could have gotten manual I would have.
