Hey, do you guys use automatic car wash during winter? Will it scratche my car since there is salt on paint?

I use them, but only the ones that are water only, none of those rotating brushes for just the reason you mention.

And that’s water only year round when I can’t get the wash done myself, possibly misplaced concern but that’s my $.02.

Not if you use the touch less car wash. The salt will just blow off with the soap, water and air. Just saying

Auto car wash here, no touchless varieties around, only in winter. My truck has 2 very heavy coats of ceramic on it to help with swirls.

Touchless is all I will use if I don’t wash at home. I regularly rinse truck as well as undercarriage with Salts Gone or another of the salt remover products.

C'mon Jersey boy, we know better than that. We use enough salt on the roads here in NJ the Dead Sea is jealous. Go to a DIY power wash water only car wash and get your a$$ under there and rinse the underneath of the truck as best you can. The paint will be okay with a rinse but the underneath is way more important.

Undercarriage is already flooded with fluid film coating, I did it myself because all shops were booked. I am bringing it in at Feb 21 for them to fluid film it officially. I will look for car wash that is brush free, just water/soap & dry.

I'd still rinse the parts that don't get fluid filmed.
