automatic door locking?

Put an aftermarket alarm in, then you can have the doors auto lock when you start the truck and auto unlock when you shut it off.

 

Wow. I would absolutely hate the auto-unlocking doors. Didn't know anybody did that...

 

our Kia's... yes Kia's even the crappy old ones had auto locking when you put the car in D and unlocked when placed in Park. Not sure why someone would say I don't like that? Yep the car locks will open if you pull the handle but the simple convenience is so much better then the Taco. Why would I put my car in Park to uh... Park if there was alleged danger outside... also why do you have to push the Fab twice to let your wife in the passenger side....errr... even the damn Kia would let you change it to one push all open. Hence I digress and Love my Tacoma so I knew all of this going in, sans heated mirrors maybe.

 

Ok here is the update... So i went back to dealer coz my alarm that i thought was installed was working until i test it then its not working lock the. Door and open it from inside and nadda" i bought the "karr " alarm upgrade so i imidiately drop by to the dealer and complain they the advisor said its does not have the chip yet so they put took my truck and put it in ..as i read the brochure it does auto lock and unlock when key is position at ACC position so now im happy camper and also i has 2 stage shock sensor
