I have a 2007 Tacoma without automatic on/off headlights..I don't think it came with this option..was wondering if the 4runner has the same set up and if I could use the auto switch from the 4 runner

I don't understand how its not available as an option.. I have an old maxima that has them...just set it to auto and the lights take care of themselves..the auto drivers door window is also automatic up and down as is the sunroof..why is Toyota so stingy with their options?

I don't think leaving the lights on all the time is a convenience either..

I guess I should be thankful that I'm still not too lazy to turn my lights on and off manually...it's no big deal to me.

I'm wondering if the 2007 4runner and Tacoma have the same wiring harnesses and switch mounting points..with the exception of the auto function and the sensor for light and darkness

Thanks I may have to go that route although I'm not a fan of aftermarket add-ons if there is an OEM options but it appears there isn't..
