    If you have a manual the compustar is considerably better sequence to do over viper. Not all second gens have the immobilizers. V6 yes.... quick trick to see if your not sure ( if you have a theft light then yes too ) just take a piece of foil and wrap it around the head of the key. Then try to start. If it starts no immobilzer if not then yes
