Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Anything can be done if you put your mind to it. This just depends on how much money you are willing to spend to get it done.

I have done many swaps from auto to manual but in the old days on old trucks and it was not a fun job .Most of the swaps were old chev , ford and dodge 4X4,s . Take the automatic out and grab a manual transmission , replace the input shaft on the transfer case to accomodate the manual transmission , driveshafts etc etc etc . The list of parts needed was a mile long back then . Easiest with donor truck by far .
These days it can still be done , however with the original Computer in the truck , its gonna be looking for advice from an automatic transmission thats no longer there . Your cheapest bet is a complete donor truck and hundreds of man hours .
Just aint worth it to tie the vehichle up that long .
Now if you have money to burn , why not add a racing torque converter and racing valve body to the truck you already have ?
Automatics can be seriously modified in comparison to manuals .
