32” Tires, BPF Front Recovery

All of a sudden the shift lever feels vague, like it doesn’t “slot” into gears fully. Is there a bushing somewhere that failed? Or does it just need some lubricant? I loved the way it notched into Drive like a bolt action rifle, but now when I put it in gear it’s like hitting a dead fish with a stick of limp brown celery.
