Is there a way to modify my automatic transmission or differential to change the shift points? I am always having to put the pedal to the metal to try and get it to downshift.

I've found in many cars that have a overdrive button, if you turn overdrive off, it will also change all of the shift points as well and move them to a higher rpm. Makes cars drive much much better around town with steep hills between 25-50mph.

Try driving with ECT on for a while. If you want to change it even more drive with ECT on and o/d off
