I had an auto 2012 and was able to get my 21 in a manual. My 21 with a manual is far more engaging than my auto 2012 even with a "better" automatic. I had a bunch of manual VWs when I was younger and didnt need a truck in my life and have missed having a manual truck. I figured this was probably my last chance to get a new manual vehicle. 87k miles later and I'm not at all tired of it. My advice is if you are on the fence an a manual sounds appealing, do it.

If you don't have anyone in your area it's a cheap and relatively easy mod to bypass the accumulator and 100% reversible.

I made the fool mistake of buying a automatic, then I discovered at 45 I loved shifting. I had never owned any automatics before the truck in 2022. While I loved it. It wasn't the same. I sold the 2022 for exactly what I bought it for. After putting 14k on it.

At one moment this winter I owned 3 tacos and wifes 4runner.
