Can I mod my driver's side window switch panel to be automatic both up and down?

I disassembled my driver's side window switch panel (2009 access cab) and noticed that the control lever for the window switches look similar with a slider that interacts with the switches.

In the middle position the driver and passenger windows are at rest. When the slider is at the rightmost notch, the window goes down manually (holding the switch partway). When I 'click' the switch all the way (for automatic rolling down) the slider goes past the rightmost notch and returns to the middle.

Does anybody know if this works in the other direction as well, where if I go past the leftmost notch the window will roll up automatically? If that's the case, would that work on the passenger window as well? It would be neat to mod the switches so that I can don't have to hold the switches up to roll up the windows. 20250826_200725.jpg 20250826_200735.jpg 20250826_200751.jpg

    Buy the kit from cartrimhome.

There are numerous threads on it here. It’s one of the happiest mods I’ve made to my truck.

Ah, that’s true. There was at least one forumite who was trying to fit the switch bezel from a Double Cab driver side front door of an Access Cab to see if that would work with the cartrimhome switches.
