    Probably lol

It was just the thought of a Ford with a non-stroked 454 in it....

    Sick dent

My dad has always been a Ford guy and he seems to like them and have good luck with them. Aside from my truck getting smoked by one I've never had any terrible experiences with them. But just enough to make me not want to own one haha.

I feel like nowadays all of the major producers are so close in quality it just comes down to whether or not you get a lemon, which is highly likely unfortunately with the variety of parts used compared to the past, and how you drive it and maintain it.

yea maybe 460. Idk..not a ford guy and especially not a ford truck guy.

    I like the challenger :anonymous:

    BUT

yes you are right its kinda a blanket statement. But when i look through my Automobile magazine..they all..ALL..are just so........boring.

yes..there are a few out there that are stellar still i get that yada yada..

but most cars these days..so dull..so boring..no..craftsmanship..or..soul. Idk.

    just me maybe.

your fiesta..totally one of those cars for me.

But there are still good cars out there yes.

oh! have you looked at mini's? i drive by a dealership every time to work. some of them are...:puke: haha but a cooper s ain't bad. I have heard they are a blast to drive. No idea how it would fare for your other needs.

Has nothing to do with trucks. I just grew up comparing Chevy to Ford all my life due to my dad being a huge Chevy fan until recently.

GM was the only one to produce a 454 crate motor while Ford made the 460. But there are Ford motors that are stroked out to a 454 which is why I was intrigued by your statement.

I hear that ALL the time about Mini Coopers now... I work with a guy that has one and everybody that has driven says it's pretty awesome once you get past how much of an idiot you feel like sitting in one haha

So many cars are designed/made by too many engineers... one guy does a door handle, another does the grille and it goes on. Nothing really flows well like cars from days ago. There are still good/great looking cars but nothing like when it was smaller teams. It's just a product of the corpo and regulations but it's too bad.

If I was buying a new car for a DD today, I'd probably just stick with what I know. Either a Corolla or Scion TC...

Yes, I've been in Corolla's, Camry's, tC's. For the price I find all of them fairly comfortable.

I'm not looking for something sporty. I'm looking for a DD like I said. Why do I need something that makes 100+ hp for a commuter?

You can still get an auto or manual depending on what trim you get.

Yup, I didn't know it until I actually went in and looked at the different trims.

I can see that, but now that I have a bike I have something to take curves. I have my truck as my toy for off roading. All I need now is a calm DD that I'll actually attempt to keep stock haha

Anything. Will help compare. If it's a fiesta and wrx..so you'll be at the ford dealer and subie..

    Try a focus and mustang

    And an outback and sti.

Anything really. Doesn't matter. Just fun to drive other cars. Go to all the dealerships. Try as many as you can. Just fun dude haha I loved it when we were just shopping for a mini van  they were all so different.

See but that's not the point. The point is to find out what you like instead of believing everything you read on the Internet.

Maybe you'll love the stis power. But might not like the ride for DDing

Maybe you like this car over that car

    Who gives a shit.

Spend a day. Go to as many dealerships as possible. Drive as many as possible. When else are you going to? Your the one who is always saying what you read is often different.

I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just saying as a car guy..GO DRIVE THE DAMN CARS!!
