Autozone battery testing

Got Autozone to swap the battery out under warranty. No issues since! I think the original guy that helped me needs some additional training.

 

Nice! Glad it worked out, how did you get them to make it happen?

 

I took the battery in and the same employee was working there. Fortunately there was another employee (I got a supervisor vibe from him). Explained everything that has happened and the symptoms. Original employee is still puzzled because he remembered the test. I explain everything that has happened points to it being the battery. Supervisor says "just swap him a new battery, its under warranty. I've seen stranger things happen". So I'm really glad the supervisor was there.

As he was doing the swap on the computer the employee couldn't figure it out and said "I don't have a lot of faith in what I'm selecting here". Supervisor fires back "I don't have a lot of faith in anything you are doing" So I got the vibe that the employee has kind of been a headache.

 

That response about faith sounds worthy of what I would say to people in my old part time job. Dealing with morons..

 

Managers should fire the problem employee, if he not working out.

 

People forget that to have an "average IQ" of around 90 there needs to be people with ... well ... lower than 90.

 

Sure. Rarely happens. Even before the "nobody wants to work", it's tough to legally fire someone without some kind of paper trail especially in today's society. Plus having to pay unemployment etc.

Of course what really sucks is in the forest view, this is a deincentive for those who do work hard.
