Where is the best/closest location to ground an Aux Battery on the passenger side corner on a 3rd Gen Tacoma TRD Pro? Any pictures or diagrams would appreciated. New to the 12 volt scene. Thanks

Pretty sure most get run back to the drivers side.

I was contemplating grounding on the passenger fender. There is a bolt already there, similar to the one for the stock battery.

But I’m not doing two batteries, merely a fuse block setup. I assume with dual batteries that you want a single battery ground to make it easy to disconnect 12v power for maintenance? Vs having to disconnect two grounds?

I'm looking to install a second battery on the passenger side. I'm going to use the matching D&T'd point on the passenger fender. Grounds should be kept as short as possible. And since it won't be routed out of sight it will be easy to keep an eye on with regards to condition and corrosion.

For the Off Grid Engineering kits there are 2 types of Aux Battery negatives.
For a system where the batteries are directly linked together, our ML-ACR kits, the negatives between the 2 batteries are connected Neg to Neg.
For systems using DC-DC Charging, our RedArc kits, The batteries have sperate ground. The aux battery goes to a chassis ground near the Aux battery.
