I found a Bluetooth module for Toyota stereos.
But the description tells, that on some models the AUX input has to be activated by a toyota service.
How can I find out if it's necessary on my truck? I have a aux button but pushing it doesn't have an effect.

Gonna need more info on this to answer....I have GROM audio aux/ipod/usb hooked to back of oem stereo and also have separate rostra Bluetooth box hooked inline with audio harness. What is this aux button on? Stereo or Bluetooth module?

The aux button is on the stereo. And the BT module should be connected to the aux/ changer input on the back.
It's the original toyota stereo with mp3 cd.

That just looks like it plugs into CD1 on back of HU and cut wires go to a microphone? I have no experience with that unit........
