aux jack repair

    Does anyone out there know how to remove the panel with the aux jack in order to repair it. Took a turn, Ipod went flying, input shorted out.

    funny I was about to start the same tread. mine cuts in and out on the drivers door speakers. tried different wires and still the same, thinking something loose behind input

    Any figure this out yet? Mine is starting to do this cuts out and seems louder in my passenger speakers. Oh im new to just got my truck 30 days ago hi

    mine actually starting working normally about a week ago. i have been meaning to take the panel apart and examin the wires but havent had a chance to yet

    I did this.. You don't have to take the dash apart. Mine popped out with a sharp knife, just be careful not to gouge the panels up. Hardest part was disassembling the actual jack itself so I could solder it.

    Leer 180 & removable camping platform. 265 Grabber AT2s for winter & 265 Mastercraft Courser ATXs for summer. 2.5 inch lift all around and Firestone airbags in the back. Camburg Uniball UCAS. Black Tundra rims (on my summer tires).
    All you need t odo is remove the section with the airflow control knobs and then you can reach the back of the aux port and push it out from the inside. The small panel below the head unit removes easily with the assistance of a flathead screwdriver, or better yet a butter knife.

    I have an extra aux port, does anybody want to buy it? its just laying here lol.. its only 1200 miles olddddd
