I was wondering if there was any way I could put a line-in chord in my raido so I could hook up an ipod without one of those fm transmitters?

I agree. I rock a GROM in my 2nd Gen after using AXXESS and PIE adapters. Fully integrates with steering wheel controls, displays the ipod text on the head unit LCD, and install is super easy. I would go with GROM. FYI, GROM is the supplier for most import and foreign factory installs; it's a trusted product.
