    Rain Visors,
Hey guys, I need to rewire my trailer. I noticed there is a 12+ feed and an AUX in my tow harness. Is the AUX just a higher draw line or is that switched somewhere from in the cab? Switched would be great, but im curious if anyone just knows.

The center (AUX) pin on a 7 pin connector is supposed to be backup lights.

Not all trailers have backup lights. My does, but my previous tow vehicle was not wired on the center pin. I ended up wiring it myself and added a relay with additional auxilary backup lights right behind the trailer tires. It really helped backing into camp sites at night.

Since I got the Tacoma, the backup lights on the trailer have not worked. I've been too lazy to put a meter on the pin and see if I get power when in reverse...
