    Welcome to TW!

You might want to be a little more specific, what do you mean by import?

I had this exact problem immediately after purchasing my truck. Luckily the previous owner had purchased a transferable extended warranty.

The problem will only get worse... I was to the point where it would disconnect anytime the cable shifted the tiniest bit, ie, making a turn, touching the iPod, ect.

I took it to the dealer, replicated the problem,
And they replaced the input jack. It seems that after a period of time, the contacts start to spread apart and you get this problem. It's actually very common. If you're still under an extended warranty, they'll cover it. If not, I think the invoice they gave me said it was like $160.00 fix.
