Out of curiosity, what size fuse is typically used in the inline fuse? My harness came with a 5 amp but it popped when I first turned on the light (30" double row). I changed it out with a 20 amp and it seems to be working fine.

Check how many amps you're running with your lights, and use the closet step up from that number. Too high of a fuse and you can melt wiring

thai, do you have/can you post pics of the actual bar installation inside the grill? did you have to do some cuts/do you have any close ups?
I want to do this exact same setup!

Hey Robert, if you look a few posts back there are a couple up close shots. I did have to cut out the plastic lattice in the valance and also do some trimming to get it to fit around the bar. I used the Rigid mounts to actually mount the bar. They were very easy to use, didn't have to remove the grill or bumper. If those pictures don't help, I can try and snap a few more if you let me know specifically what you need to see.

Here are a couple more detailed shots. Not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for but hopefully it helps. b30d4e93402db4fa5b3c5fe28c908e2c_32b85822d1392561d2792aed56950910273095a1.jpg87d5f43e5affcd373fcc42e99cb10a54_07ca0030ccb07fbc6c700ccab2d3a70fc1b69299.jpgdfefd221b5db9b5ddbc305f158d3fe89_a98a8e35a85a32042a514f74bb3037c9108dc74f.jpgcce82c61b3789e15b992e429562f0399_3e9873c8829b47beba355cdbb8f59f4707e90316.jpg62692abfc80ab5f826e7516f68a990a0_8cc0a1479ba9e47d10c9b029ff1ea9d160041d13.jpg
I used tin snips to cut out the lattice and the bulk of the plastic that was in the way. I then mounted the bar with the valance off the truck. Then I used a dremel to fine tune it until it fit back over the light and into place with a little effort. It's a tight fit but I didn't want to cut out too much material, in order to make it as clean looking as possible. Again, hope this helps!

Me too! I don't like running the amber lens covers, they cut down on the light output too much

Has anyone put a slim in the stock 12+ grille? Specifically, under the Toyota emblem and a 12" or 19"?

I know I've seen it around but can't remember where and not having any luck searching for it. Due to Cali laws, gotta run the front license plate, otherwise I'd prolly do it in the valance. Maybe I'll do some double row 6" on each side of the plate? Ehh...
