I use 5 pin switches, but you can definitely look it up on google images for a diagram of 4 pin rocker switches. That'll get ya set up!

With 4 pins it should be power in/out and power and ground for the light on the switch. Its a weird set up though, ive never seen all 4 pins on the bottom like that. But youll still have to look up whitch pin is what. Also that will be a "carling style" switch you have there.

That configuration of your 4 pin switch is kinda uncommon. Did you purchase those switches? Is it a DPDT? Youre gunna want to buy a SPST switch with 3 pins, or a 5 pin, whitch will have two indicator lights on the switch. Your choice on that though.

Okay here is an image of a 5 pin SPST switch. A 3 pin will be minus pins 8 and 6.

You cannuse a 3 pin with a relay too! The 5 pin just simply adds another indicator light on the switch, 2 instead of one. One light that would come on with the dash lights for example and the other would illuminate when the switch is in the on position. The 3 pin just has a light for the on position. And again make sure to get a SPST switch.

The use of a relay is just a safety feature. Pin #3 would be used to power the relay reguardless if you get a 5 pin or a 3 pin rocker switch. If a relay was not used then pin #3 would simoly be the wire that powers the accessory.
