Average trip needs to be around 30 miles of highway driving to typically see numbers in the 19 to 23 mpg

Hello, I have 2019 Off road MT. My average fuel mileage gauge does not reset right. After I refuel the mileage actually drops. I have not been able to reset nor do I know how to show me the correct mileage per gallon. It will read anywhere from 12-17 miles per gallon and slowly as I use up the fuel it will get close to 18.5 mpg. How do I reset this when fueling up so I can get the correct readings. The owner’s guides did not come with the truck.
    Thanks

"Ave Tank MPG" resets per tank. Will be a bit wiggly until you get 50 miles or so under the tank. Not the same as "since the truck came to life" MPG.

Almost the same question. When i filled up my truck with gas since i bought it the "Miles to Empty" always read 320-325 miles. I towed my ATV's back from my hunting camp without any problems. Now when I fill up the tank the "Miles to Empty" hovers around 288 miles. Am i crazy or am i missing something. Just curious. Thanks and enjoy your day.

Miles to empty is estimated from total fuel economy over the life of the truck, unless you reset be removing battery cable for 20 minutes. Set display to "tank average economy" to see how economy varies by conditions and loads.

Mine definitely won’t reset on its own. I’ve filled up twice now and it still fluctuates from 14mpg to 18mpg and back and forth. Also, I have a manual transmission, I just had a clutch kit, master cylinder and a slave cylinder put in. When shifting into 2nd abd third the stick seems to stick and make a little grinding noise. Clutch pedal is completely to the floor. 4th is perfect! It goes in nice and smooth. 5th and 6th getting on the the highway, just as I put it into gear and let off clutch there is a thump. Any experience this? Is it me? Is it my driving. Is it just Toyota. I absolutely love this truck! It’s my first Toyota. I’ve driven Chevy my entire life up till now. I do drive standard for work as I’m a truck driver and have since I learned to drive at 14 years old. This just seems a little weird.Thank you
