Never pushed mine above 385 although scangauge still said I had 3.5 gallons left and it's usually within .1 gallons of accuracy.

Overall average in the summer is 23mpg per tank and in the winter around 20.5mpg per my scangauge. 75 miles round trip per day for work over a 1000ft mountain pass on California stop-n-go freeway traffic.

Still getting this kind of mileage with over 90,000 miles on the truck.

It would be more accurate to calculate your MPG. Basing it on a "full tank" is too subjective as everyone may be filling theirs much later than you are.

Divide the number of gallons required to fill the tank by the number of miles travelled for the most accurate measure. I average about 18 mpg on the highway with 285/75R16 mud terrain tires and a 3" lift. If I ran it dry, that would work out to 378 miles but I rarely go that far, usually filling at about 270-280.

I agree, you have to rate it on MPG's. I too am in the 17-18 MPG range average.
