Hi there, just checking what's the average price to change a clutch on a '96 Tacoma? I pay around $1,600. That seems okay.?

$1,600 seems steep. How does that breakdown? How much is parts cost (that shouldn't exceed $400)? How much is labor?

3-4 hours of labor should cover that job. So all in I'd say $1000-1200 is where that price should come in at

Mine was done March 2022 for $876.22 for parts and labor in California. It’s a one man shop.
