    I wired it up to the harness then plugged it in and the deck wouldn't turn on. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong

    Not much to go by..
    Check your butt splices.. the power (red) and the ground (black). Make sure you've got a solid connection on those.

    You're going to cover up those exposed wires on the bypass too, right?

    Yeah I just wired them together quick. It turned out it was a blown fuse. But now the volume won't turn up. Just stays at the same level. Going to go check my connections

    I would solder your connections, I’ve never liked butt splices.
