I'm currently in an embattled check in situation with AA, looks like I might be switching back to Southwest

Willing to bet money you're wrong. Was stationed at Davis-Monthan for a few years - they guard those bullets like they're made of gold. Safety protocols dictate when they can be loaded, and if it isn't going to the range (or downrange), it's empty.

They train with empty guns, putting the pipper on moving traffic and then filming how long they can keep a moving vehicle under the gun. IF they can "hit" a Mini Cooper doing 45 on surface streets, an enemy convoy doesn't have a chance.

One of the reasons they may be watching those DU rounds so closely ...... is the liability now from "DU Dust & Particulate".

Some VA claims have being awarded on this ... getting that Depleted Uranium Dust in your lungs is not good.

    Hey Guys!

So I own a little company called Aviation Seminars. We've been doing FAA Test Prep classes and Live Classroom FIRCs for a long time, but we just released a new product and we are stepping out into the online FIRC world. I'm on Tacomaworld a lot and remembered seeing this thread. So I'm hitting you guys up for opinions.

I'd love to get the opinion of the CFIs on here on our offering. Traditional online FIRCs are just reading. Our new program is 100% video. You're able to just sit back and watch the FIRC instead of having to read through it. Anybody want to give your opinion? I'm happy to offer a BIG Tacomaworld discount for your candid reviews. PM me or post here if interested.

    Check it out here: https://www.aviationseminars.com/online-firc/

So you are making the CFI's workload easier by making them more lazy? I like the concept. But the implementation is skewed in my opinion. Also who are these FIRC courses geared towards? Airplane? Helicopter? Gyroplane?

Even had a rare flyby of an E-4B 'Doomsday' plane at the Sacramento Airshow today. Thirty years working in aviation and this is the first time I've gotten to see one. Pretty cool!

They are a command and control center capable of launching a counter attack as well as survive an EMP from a nuclear attack. There are 4 in existence and at least one is on alert at all times. Because they take the place of a ground-based control center should it be decimated in an attack, it's been dubbed the Doomsday plane.

It's airplane centric, but is more concept based than directly being geared toward airplane.

Here's the dark secret, we're actually trying to increase the knowledge that a CFI gains during the FIRC buy making it more enjoyable.

What do you mean by skewed in the implementation?
