Awesome will do if I have any questions. Flying out of Mesa should be fun! Way different than flying up north in Prescott.

I did a little searching, looking to see where the aircraft may be.

Unfortunately, I discovered that all of the Boeing 314s are no longer in existence. :( They were used during the war, and saw limited non-Pan Am use after the war. But, once they outlived their usefulness...

    How sad.

The full depth reclamation of my runway so far. Contractor is about halfway with the 5in overlay. Currently operating off the parallel taxiway 4200x35. Can't wait for things to be back to normal.

Runway surface was about 6 years past its useful life. It's a federally funded project.

How deep? That was always the issue with taking a Gulfstream into a smaller airport. You had the runway performance to takeoff and land but there was no guarantee the ramp could support you when parked.

    Hello aviators :plane:

Do any of you know about flying into the Lake Tahoe airport (I believe it is: KTVL) from Southern California (Orange County)? From what I understand this airport only supports smaller aircraft (correct me if I am wrong) and am wondering how I would go about chartering a flight out there. Do any of you use a particular company or service? This is all very new to me and have no idea where to start. I know Reno is a good alternative, but wouldn't mind getting some insight on flying to Tahoe or smaller airports in general.
