If you're interested in aviation, you're more than welcome in these parts. Have any photos of the 707? I love that airplane!

I took this photo of "Nine O Nine" last year when it came into town (this photo is a repost, apologies). My goal, mark my words, is to be the pilot of these airplanes on the tour. I have some plans in the making.....

    I sure do!

I love the 707s as well! 63 years since the double barrel roll was performed

I missed the chance to ride last year in a Liberator, when they had a scheduled stop, during their summer tour, at a regional Airport that's 10 min from my house:(

Nice work! What is your goal now that you have some decent flight time? Or do you already have something going on that I missed?

Been contracting in King Air 200s this semester and I am going to graduate in December. Hopefully I'll be getting in the right seat of a jet once I move back to Dallas, but that is tentative right now. I still want to go fly heavies in the Reserves/Guard, too. Ideally, I'd like to skip the regional airlines and go straight to a mainline carrier *cough* Southwest *cough* from flying military and corporate. My mind changes about every other day, so who knows what I'll actually end up doing.

Anyone here going to ICAS in Vegas in December? My wife has to go for work and I'm thinking of going to hang out and hit the convention floor a few of the days she is there.

Did you see the part about skipping the regionals? I’m not ruling anything out though, Envoy is headquartered where I live so that wouldn’t be too bad. The pay and work conditions are definitely improving from where they used to be!

Ya I'm just yanking your chain... I've got 3 buddies at envoy... one is a CRJ700 captain and sim check airman and the other two are FOs on the 145. They enjoy envoy... much better than compass or PSA from what I hear... I don't follow that stuff since I have zero interest in being at a 121.

Hell you can come fly my E90 when she's done or the 690b... but you gotta pass the muster of the chief pilot and that is no walk in the park  He scares me.

My friends at Envoy seem to like it, I just don't know if it's how I want to spend my time.

Arizona is a long way for me to go to fly an E90 or 690 :anonymous:. Bring them to DFW metroplex and we'll talk!

I successfully skipped the regionals, so rest assured that it can be done. There are pros and cons to everything in life so just talk to people and see what works for you. Corporate/charter can be a pretty awful schedule (especially if you have a family), but for a young single dude that enjoys flying, it’s a great job.

I think the Gaurd would be awesome. SWA likes the guys that flew heavies too.

Hey guys I live in Flagstaff, AZ. My Family owns several FBO’s in the Southwest and I have litteraly spent my whole life around aircraft and airports. I work full time at the Flag airport. We have 2 Cessna 172s and a Barron D-55 as well as a King Air 90. I just recently starting learning to fly and solo’d a month ago. I’ve got 1000s of plane pictures.

    Las Vegas is the winner!

But what plane in the dirt are you talking about?
