Weather sucks in much of the Midwest/South/East from about late May through September. It’s decent for October and then sucks again from November-February.

I got stuck in Denver and Chicago as a passenger....blah.

Did see a spectacular thunder storm 100mi east of Denver on approach though....been a while since I've see a lot of lightning above ground level.

Got my prop balanced today. Curious to see if I’ll notice a difference next time I fly...it wasn’t too terribly far off balance anyway

Flew over the Grand Canyon and over the Vegas Strip today. Was happy to land on 19R for the cool views! Staying at the Cosmo with a room upgrade. It’s days like today that make it hard to believe I actually get paid for this :)

Cool. I know you've probably already said this before, but what are you flying for your day job?

I’m contracting as a right seater on a few different King Airs, a Citation Jet 525, and a Citation Bravo 550 and loving it. Just wish I flew more often

Sounds like fun. How are the hours counted right seat vs left seat? Do you have to have left seat time before you can move up in the corporate world?

In the King Air, most of the time I’m flying with a MEI so I log dual received or PIC depending on the flight (no type rating required for B200). The Citations get tricky. I am SIC rated in them and log SIC time when I am a required crew member. When I am not required, I’m SOL unless flying with an MEI. Lots of people will say you can log dual received in a jet when flying with an ATP rated pilot, but as I understand the regs, that is not true for part 91 Ops.
