Is anyone here familiar with the Robertson stol 182? Dad isn’t sure if his plane is a Robertson conversion or just has the fence and wing tips.
As far as I can tell doing light googling the fence, wing tips, and leading edge modification are the only changes for STOL.

    Found this on a forum..

You might consider adding some VG's when you repaint. Those will compliment the STOL kit nicely, I hear.

The adsb should suffice with any atc facility equipped with a scope, We don’t have one here.

We made the trip up to the airport today and took a more detailed look at the plane.
Insurance wants us to take it to a shop about 200 miles away for an estimate.
To take it back the way it was we’re looking at (in our opinion) a re-skin on the fuselage and wings, likely vertical stabilizer replacement, paint job, as well as plastic tips.
Sunday evening we’re going to come up with a light box and camera/tripod to try to get the lighting and angles right to get good pictures of the damage for insurance.

    Aileron damage.

And damage to the vertical stabilizer.

    Some divots on the elevator.

And rudder damage (difficult to see)

    Damn that sucks!!

Unless the plane is insured for more than it's worth, then congrats! :D

Good day all. In the rain up here and thinking fondly of days from the late winter when there was some good flying to be had! C9B90BBD-834C-4CCE-8522-49260C35EDE1.jpg

TikTok is the app where people make short videos of different things, like how Vine was several years ago
