...^^^... Cool looking machine ... I saw a guy flying a powered chute with what looked like a ... "gas powered fan" ... strapped on his back (I was looking from a distance).

I have a cool pic somewhere of him ... flying into the sunset several years ago.

I've got a buddy if you want me to pass the questions to him.

EDIT: Wish I'd seen this sooner he just left a job in Seattle today. Sorry.

Flying mine out there is highly unlikely though not impossible. I need a get-around vehicle and I'll be around LA for three weeks.

Idaho is great now. Cold mornings and warm afternoons. There was frost on the runway in Big Creek when I landed there July 10.

Maybe we can grab a beer at least.

Nah he's still with them, but the next job was in Reno. He just bounces around from broken plane to broken plane.

Oh that’s a pretty sweet sounding job. I’m trying to get hired at their hub in Kentucky to work the planes there but am trying to figure out the best way to get in the door. I’m willing to go anywhere else for a few months if that means I could bid Kentucky once off of probation

I love the King Air. Flew 90, 100, and 200's for 7 years doing charter and medevac all over north America, but mostly through northern Ontario and Arctic fly in communities. The 90 we had, had the same PT6-28 engines that were on the 100's. I refer to it as the Miata of airplanes. Of the airplanes I've earned a living flying, that 90 was my favourite. The straight and A100's were dogs. Didn't enjoy flying them. Not enough engine or wing. The A models preformed slightly better than the straight 100. Having the deep pod on them didn't help. Never flew the B model with Garrett's. Garrett's are gross. The 200 was a pleasure. Stable, flew high and fast for a prop. Good range. Some of the best years of my career have been spent in the King Air. Beech builds a helluva an aircraft.

Back in January I CAD’d up these brackets for my C120, had them machined from steel. Then I adapted an old pit bull motorcycle stand to lift the tire off the ground. Works great for pulling the wheel off to service tires or wheel bearings. I’d like to weld up a more compact stand that I can’t take with me in the plane in case of a flat.

    The bracket:

Well, I was already copying another guy I saw do something similar, so I’ll just enjoy it in silence lol

I love the paint on this airplane. What do you have in the panel? I'm not sure I remember seeing it.

Thanks! When I first bought it I was sure I would get rid of the blue, but I really love it now. Panel is basic, but I recently added a Garmin Aera 660 and G5.

That is so cool, I love how the yellow is continued inside. Nice mix of old school and new school in the panel there too. I’m going to get my tailwheel in my buddy’s yellow Citabria whenever I can find the time to get up to Arkansas and make it happen. That airplane of yours would be right at home on my deer lease strip!
