It's even better that you like your job!

Our drivers new contract puts widebody left seat ~ $320/hr at top out with a decent guarantee (70 hr +/- depending on bid period) and of course there's all types of "over rides" for ULH, international ect. It's a good gig man. We have cats that bust out there month quick and are off half the month or more.

Yeah.....how could you say no to a gig like that?? The AF and other branches are going to have a hard time keeping guys in with opportunities like that all around.

That's a mean machine! Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those....

S-3 Viking (carrier-born fixed-wing anti-submarine warfare, crew of 4) was nicknamed the Hoover because it had the same engines at the A-10 and made a whooping sound on spool up.

Know what's the difference between the S-3 and a vacuum cleaner?

The vacuum only has 1 dirtbag in it. :D
I was a Viking SENSO at one time in my life...so yeah I was a dirtbag. :anonymous:

Design of the B36 started in 1941 in case the Nazis overran England and needed to be bombed from North America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convair_B-36_Peacemaker
It was not designed to carry nuclear weapons, it just turned out big enough to carry them.

Every once and a while we see some ospreys come in to the Northrop Grumman Facility at the airport i work at, those things are unbelievably loud when they are taxiing, you can hear them over two spooled 737 engines

I was out on the flight line the last time the president came to Seattle and his pre-arrival team showed up a couple days before in 3 Ospreys and they shook that dog house more than those damn Dreamlifters on a take off roll
