Ferried a MAX today. For some reason I always find it fun to fly empty planes. Maybe it’s reminiscent of that first solo, or perhaps it’s the lack of pressure from judgment of a terrible landing.

the removal of all that tape and seeing the final result is satisfying, even on the simple jobs we do on the navy aircraft from tiem to time.

My youngest standing in the atrium at KATL on his way to field training for AFROTC yesterday. Three lovely weeks at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, MS. Proud of him….77247E03-56DA-4D66-A7B7-853503DA9713.jpg

Oh man I remember doing that. The khakis and polo look way more comfortable than the blues they made us wear. Best of luck to him! Camp Shelby was the far more enjoyable portion of field training.

Chemtrails are just a distraction they play along with to keep us from realizing the birds aren't real!

I honestly don't know what the jet is. He was just pulling stuff out of his hanger and it was the first time I'd seen it. Pretty small and sleek with delta wing and still in camo (maybe a Mirage?). I'll hopefully be able to get some up close pictures soon.

Oh man, if its a delta wind, he's not playing around. Mirage or maybe an Etendard

I'll be flying the super cub there next week, so I'll do a little poking around and find out exactly what it is. It's bad enough when he is behind me in the pattern in one of the P-51s.

Got a good look at the jet today when I was parking the cub at the maintenance hanger. Oil pressure in the red at run up, so no flying.
Anyway, the jet is a Marchetti S211. Looks like a fun plane to burn fuel in.
