I 'll tell you what. Honestly, if I had backpacked in 3 or 4 days to get away from it all and arrived at that, I'd be fucking pissed.

It is a canon photography forum called http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=37. I have not been on it in awhile but I am sure some basic searching, especially in the monochrome aviation thread would get you to his work pretty quick.

Okay guys I need some help here from pilots or mechanics the plane was a 757-200

I was on a flight from SFO and we had to make an emergency landing in Denver. Now the plane made some very odd moves from left to right about 10 times.....what would cause this? Could the Capt done this as diversion for the real issue?

Capt comes on and says the usual speech in an emergency got it!! Now when we land we have Federal agents enter plane after we park at the gate after sitting on the runway for about 15 minutes....

I am sitting Denver now and 12 plus inches of snow is predicted and may fuck the flights damn I hate air travel sometimes....

All I see is this: http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_29672023/cross-country-united-flight-diverted-denver-airport-after

The feds probably came on because part of the airport was evacuated for a suspicious package at the time

    What was you destination?

The shift left & right may have been to allow more time to descend either because of altitude or seperation.

At cruise I would expect them not to have had a known gear issue while en route all the way from SFO.

Of course, depending on why it diverted, SAMC may have had the crew doing some troubleshooting on the aircraft.

No weather at DC today. Maybe a fuel tech stop due to flow control. It's high traffic area anyway and crap may be slow for other reasons? The 757 is a great airplane with the range to make cross country without full fuel but, if DC was on ground stop I could see UA putting the aircraft at a large station.

Did the crew offer any explanation at all?

Is the aircraft getting any maintenance that you can see?

I wasn't thinking about S-turns, but that's a possibility as well, especially if it was as you were descending or nearing the airport. My wife (who hates flying) likes them about as much as a go-around.

It's no DM that's for sure......just hoping to get out (w/ the taco of course) and explore Michigan once things start to thaw out and green up a bit.

Were you out here at one point too then?
