Looking at the grass, that bird looks like a quarter or fifth scale RC model.

26 inch tires, so I guess the grass was a bit thick where I parked.

I’m pretty technologically challenged. I’ve been trying to GoPro video my flights and am struggling to figure this camera out. Here is a still from the video I recorded when I first tried to land there. You can see a plane parked where I parked and a tractor on the left side cutting the grass along side the runway. I went to the other strip in the pictures for an hour or so before returning there and landing. The camera quit recording half way through my trip, even though it still had battery and space. I guess it got too hot.

A G5 & GTN650? Very nice. That’s better equipment than some regional jets.

The club is great for modern avionics. All our 182s have dual G5s, GTN750, and EDM-930 engine monitors. It's nice to have four planes with the same setup so you're familiar no matter which plane you're in.
The Super Cub is a Cub Crafter rebuild and seems almost new.

Dang. That’s a shame. That restaurant on the airport there is neat, I enjoy eating there on occasion

I never think about what my floats are doing when I'm bashing through the waves on a windy day, but skip to about the 4:02 mark of this video, and check out the movement of the floats on that 206. Wow!!! Or don't skip ahead, watch the whole thing, and get to see a beautiful Otter landing. Not very common to see one that's still wearing the original 1340. What a lovely sound.

Been several years since I've been in a single engine Otter, but I do remember how loud they were.

Loudest plane my ears have ever been subjected too.

Edit to add: this is the first fixed wing aircraft I ever flew in,

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I was curious and looked up the flight path of that bad incident in San Diego. From what Flight Aware showed, I am guessing that poor Dr. had a bad stroke or heart attack. His course was way off of his filed path. Just guessing here!
