A lot like dealing with skydivers all weekend..
What kind of cruise #s was it getting? My friends' RG was great except for the landing gear system. The gear on it was a constant maintenance thorn in the side. Too bad 177s didn't have 6 cyls and 3 blades on them. They had the same wings as 210s.

Typical woman driver. Thinks she knows what she's doing, ends up crashing.

His will do 150KTAS. He has also not had any major gear troubles. The key to the Cardinal gear systems is really understanding how they work and taking care of preventative items before you have a problem.

    If a Cardinal had a 6cyl and 3-blade, it would just be a 210!

Yes, but it would a slicker 210...lol. I was a partner in a Turbo 210, and it and the 177 both didn't like to slow down once you got em cooking....The gear on our 210 got plenty of TLC and never gave us any trouble. Still had all the gear doors, we liked the look and it seemed to have 5 to 8 kts over the modded 210s...it was quieter too Good solid IFR platform...we miss it.

Today's Pilots n Paws mission had me doing the Texas two-step. I logged 7.4 today flying Dallas-Lubbock-Houston-Dallas. This beautiful pup needed a ride from Lubbock to Houston and I saw a great weather day and volunteered. We had favorable winds all day by choosing good altitudes and the plane ran great.

    Edit:

I forgot to add this picture. We were making good speed this morning in the ol FG Cardinal. 131KTAS

So I saw a plane leave our airfield and can’t remember what it is. It’s military and has a long pointy wing base… any ideas. What it is? I googled and cant seem to find it. It was loud though..
** UPDATE** found it it was a U2! Pretty cool!!

Yeah. One I've yet to see in the air. Maybe I'm not looking high enough.
