Ok this makes me want to go find a copy of Jane's Longbow Gold and see if it will run on Windows 10...

Overnight in Eagle, CO last night. Boy was it pleasant this morning! Can’t wait to be back up here in these mountains next week camping with the Tacoma.

I was sort of wondering why they chose those specific models.
No sign of them yet but they've got some thunderstorms rolling through so maybe they're delayed.

L-39s are cheap and readily available as 2-seater trainers so those make sense.

Alpha jets though, those are uncommon enough it's a little bizarre. I would have thought if anything, the BAE Hawk and Mig-29 would be a better combo since international/NATO pilots would likely have time in those if they ever expanded crew sourcing since they are staples of overseas UPT pipelines.

I wondered if they weren't Draken / "Red Air" airframes; Just didn't have time to research it. Totally makes sense then that they're Russian/foreign made hardware if its sourced from an aggressor company.

Please post how you get to work - IF you get it to work. I broke a sweat playing that program! (I do on a couple of simulator programs.)

Haha, last winter I flew into BZN. On the trip up, while cruising at FL290, my SIC looked at the OAT and said, "it's colder on the ground in BZN than up here!" Still makes me laugh when I think about it.

It was -18F on the ground in BZN, thankfully with little wind.

Then, two knucklehead pilots almost died from exposure looking for their Uber ride. Who knew tiny BZN airport had a distant parking lot setup for Uber pickups ...

it can get like that some times! and "tiny"....LOL our airport here is the busiest in MT

still no sign of the Space X crew. was kind hoping they'd do a meet and greet or something for the public while they're here. I'd take the time to go to that

I've been fortunate to visit BZN a few times, in better weather. We really like the area and the people.

Here's a photo of when it warmed up the next morning :rofl::rofl:

Saw the SpaceX crew finally today. Now I know why I missed them the last couple days - A) they are super quiet, was expecting the picture frame rattling that I usually get when the zoomies stop to refuel and B)they do some short approaches and made a quick little U turn to get in line to land instead of the usual long pass directly over me. I only saw them as I was out in the driveway washing my truck.
