    Took the kids to our first airshow as a family. It was a great show with mostly fighters (F86, F18c and F18G, F15, F22) and some heavies.

    Yep, I truly broke a sweat with that one. Had an actual "lost comms" event too. Made a for very memorable checkride.
    I concur with @MatthewMay1 that the CFI & CFII are worse...

    I borderline miss being a CFI. I had a good time teaching and I was lucky to have mostly multi-engine students in my last year. But in the end, being a CFI is like being in high-school..... we all have to survive the phase and we are happy it's over, but we look back with fond memories.

    I got back into the CFI role a little bit. I have done a couple of flight reviews and signed one pilot off for his commercial single-engine land this summer. It is a lot different when you are not needing hours, relying on it for a paycheck, or having to do it every single day.
