The PNS museum has F-18 Simulators that I flew with my wife as my backseat... We shot down 2 other guys. I flew and she fired missiles. We made 3 traps also. Best $20 I've spent in awhile. This was about 7 years ago so I'm not sure the sims are still there

Ha, I'd be happy to since it's not my money, but I go where I am told. If I end up there again I will definitely let you know.

You can really see the wingtip vortices and the shape of the ground effect well. Super cool photo.

I need to take this beauty off the shelf and finish it. I posted this a few years ago in the model thread. It still looks the same. :anonymous:

Yeah...oops. Once you get past the security checkpoint (which I have no clue why security wasn't notified of the car chase headed their way and close the gate) you can easily access the flightline because that part of the base is built between the two runways and uses a lot of old tarmac as parking area for cars near the hangars.

Is that this one? I built that when I was like, shit, 12 or so. Loved that model. I put ignition lead details on the cylinder heads.

Nice. Never heard of Trumpeter. Did the kit come with brass details, or is that your own handiwork?
