The plane that Boeing should be making instead of the Max. So many airlines screaming for something with 757 range and capacity. Good thing Airbus is building one.

    Thank you!
I agree that I wish this one was still in production.

Got some great pictures of my first takeoff from one of the SFO controllers.

How was the first landing? Lol! My first land in the 37 was not good. Neither were the few after. I’ve improved with 17 years now on type.

I feel like my landing was actually not bad, but the auto brakes came on a little more abruptly than I was expecting. I was so concentrated! It feels so high and fast on landing compared to the Sovereign I was flying before.

You get use to the auto brake pretty quickly. They kind of just snatch on the 37 and try to drive the nose down as you’re trying to fly it down. You get a feel for just how much back pressure to add to keep the nose gear from slamming on, but not so much that you stop or reverse the de-rotation. You also develop a feel for just when to override the auto brake so the pax don’t feel the ‘pop’, and you just continue to smoothly decelerate.

Congrats on getting to fly that beautiful aircraft for a world class airline. You’ve put in the effort and the hard work. You deserve to be in that seat. Enjoy it!

Oh I’m sure it’ll take a while for me to really dial it in. My next flight is on a 767 so I’ll get to feel how that plane handles differently.
    Thank you!

This is my ride. Not a bad way to spend an hour or two every week. This belongs to the Abbotsford Flying Club, in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.

Grandson of a couple of people we fly with took some discovery flights and is starting lessons and getting a simulator for his bday next week. They asked that I immortalized him in cherry and maple so I did. Threw in a ‘remove before flight’ keychain, every pilot needs one

I think the Space X crew is back in town...weird planes circling, landing but nothing is showing up on flight aware.
